SEP 3 DAY HIKE AT LAKE CREEK PRESERVE – *** The hike is cancelled at this time.
The flood gage at Lake Creek is almost 10 inches above the level on October 1. The gage is currently at the
“Action” level, which is technically short of minor flooding. That said, the trails in the Lake Creek area have received
a lot of rain in the last 24 hours and are river plan / bottom land otherwise known as flood plain. They are likely to
be muddy at best and more likely boggy to soggy.
If you signed up for the hike have already replied to my email and cancelled, you do not need to reply to this message.

at 281-671-7363 confirming receipt.
I do not like to cancel hikes, but our goal is to get out there, get some exercise, and have a good time.
